When you were all very young I would ask you, “Are you going to love Daddie and give Daddie hugs and kisses forever?”
And you always said, “Yes.”
Then I would follow up with, “… even when you’re a…”
and you would all blurt out “TEENAGER!!!” 😉
Sitting around the campfire at Uncle Jim’s last night, I told Jim I was tired of saying, “Someday I plan to do [this]” or “Someday I want to do [that]”. I wanted to start accomplishing some of my goals, my list of things I’m going to do “someday.” And Jim being 74 years old, summed up perfectly where my thoughts were leading, “Someday you’ll be dead!” We both cracked up laughing because it was so true!
Moral of the story: take time to live your dreams before it is too late. Make someday TODAY and EVERYDAY!
